Friday homework

Math - 5.2 simplifying fractions.

History - quiz on Monday

Literature - finish last chapter (few pages) in Rifles for Watie. Remember the book jacket reports are due on Tuesday! Don't wait until the last minute to finish them!!

We only have 2 days of school next week before our Thanksgiving break. This year is flying by! We will be having our taco feast on Tuesday - thanks to everyone who signed up to bring food!

Thursday homework

Bible - fill-in-the-blank verse quiz on Friday.....Romans 1:18-20

Science - test tomorrow. Study chapter 2. Test will be a compliation of chapters 1&2. Most of chapter 2 questions will be bonus points. We have reviewed all week what type of questions these will be.

History - quiz will be on MONDAY!!!

Spelling - no new spelling lists until after Thanksgiving! We will be having our classroom spelling bee on December 1st.

Math - none!

Thank you so much for all of your help for FMSC today. The students had a wonderful time. I love their enthusiasm and attitudes as they pack this food. I have had several ask when they could pack again!

Science - quiz tomorrow (2.9-2.11) Test on Friday (ch 1&2)

History - SS 16 in workbook + your HIM report is due tomorrow.

Spelling - test over list 12 tomorrow.

Monday, November 15 homework

Bible - write verse Romans 1: 18-20 in spiral.....verse quiz on Friday.

Literature - make sure you are continuing working on your book jacket report. This is due Tuesday, November 23rd. We have just completed chapter 22 in Rifles For Watie.

Math - none. I will be handing back math test during class for corrections.

Science - test over chapters 1&2 on Friday of this week. Quiz on Wednesday. We will be doing a lot of reviewing for this test/quiz. Homework - make sure worksheet 8 is finished - worked on during class.

History - skills sheet 16, CCU 6 section B (all). First current event (history in the making) report is due on Wednesday. We went over what the format is for the report last week.

Spelling - test on list 12 is Wednesday.

****We are so blessed to be a pack out site for Feed My Starving Children on Thursday. Our date for service is Thursday from 1-3. If you have volunteered during that time, please get to CCA by 12:45. *****

Tuesday homework

Spelling - test tomorrow, list 10

Literature - finish reading chapter 19, write sentence summary. Keep working on your book jacket report. I gave the students some "due by" dates to keep them on track. Don't wait until the last night to complete the assignment. :)

History - find a history in the making article (current event). If you get it from the internet, you must print it out. If you get it from the newspaper, please bring the article to class tomorrow. We are only checking to ensure you are picking good articles. We will review what makes a good/bad article tomorrow in class.

Math - 4-6 circumference. Test over chapter 4 on Thursday.

Science - read pp 115-116, complete section C # 5-13 and all of section D. (We had a lot of time in science class today to start working on this assignment).

Literature - remember the book jacket reports are due on Nov. 23rd. Keep working little by little. I gave the students dates to keep them on track for each panel of the book jacket.

Math - perimeter worksheet

Spelling - test on Wednesday.

Friday homework

Bible - no new verse this week!

Grammar- test 2-1 if you did not finish in class.

Math - extra credit worksheet and 2 word problem sheets (12 problems total). If you cannot get a word problem, don't do it....we will discuss in class on Monday.

Reading - keep up to date on your book jacket report. We just finished reading chapter 16, so everyone should have at least 16 chapter summaries. There is a schedule of dates for completion of your book jacket in the classroom. Make sure you are working a little bit each day.

Science - read pp 108-111, CCU2B, section A # 1-10, section c # 1-4

Spelling - turn in spelling list on Monday if you did not turn it in on Friday.

Thursday homework

Bible - quiz tomorrow Acts 16:31

Science - Quiz Friday (2.7-2.8)

Grammar - 2-1 if not finished. (we had time in class)

Literature - finish chapter 16, book jacket report is due Nov. 23rd.

math - w/s 4-4 odds only

History - Test Friday. The test tomorrow is the maps portion only. The rest is open book!!!

Wednesday homework

Bible - verse quiz Acts 16:31 is on Friday. It will be a written test.

Math - some students have math corrections to do. w/s 4-3 dividing decimals by whole numbers.

Literature - book jackets are due on Tuesday, November 23rd.

Science - quiz Friday (2.7-2.8)

History - We have a big chapter 1-5 test on Friday. The only part of the test that will not be open book is the map portion. These are the maps we have been practicing all year long.
CCU 5 Section C #3-4, Section D and E (all) and an extra credit quiz due tomorrow.

Monday homework

Math - decimal worksheets.

Science - read pp 100-102 and do CCU 2B, section B

History - take home quiz due Wednesday. Bison paragraph due Wednesday. Test on Friday, (chapters 1-5 + mm5 from book)

Literature - finish reading chapter 14, book jacket reports are due November 23rd.
